I agree with the above four, you can't judge people by what they eat. I think if you were to take your first approach you may not have many friends or family left.

Personally, i say nothing unless they start trying to convince me that im wrong in being a vegetarian. I dont see the point in judging people based on their lifestyle choices which is actually rather ironic considering i live in northern michigan where everyone is always hunting. I simply find it amusing that people always assume that i think im better then them for being a vegetarian, when in reality they're the judgmental ones. So to answer the question, i usually dont say anything unless provoked :)

I don't mind at all. Just like I choose not to eat any animal products, it's their choice whether they do or not. I'm vegan for my own personal benefit by knowing I'm not a part of the whole animal exploitation industry. Everyone has a different view on it, so if someone wants to eat meat, that's up to them. Who's to say I'm better than them for not eating meat?

You should eat your carrot and try not to let it bother you. You aren't better than anyone else. You need to learn to respect everyone and their beliefs. That doesn't mean you have to like it, but you should be able to be respectful of others.

Nothing.
I continue to respect other peoples life decisions and hope that one day they find a better path.
If someone asks me about health or vegetarianism ill give them all the time and info ive got but i will never waste my time on someone who doesnt want to hear it.

wow....i have honestly never seen anyone "grind on a steak like a dog on a bone" BUT i think that would offend anyone, not just vegans...lol. most people just munch happily on their juicy yumminess and it is ok. as is crunching the carrot.

nothing. why should i say anything.. folks choose what they want.
what's wrong with choice? so what, they eat meat and i don't.
doesn't mean i'm not going to cook for meat eaters and such. what would give me the right to say things about their preferences????

My husband is not a vegetarian like me... so when I see him doing that I tell him... "Can you believe what your're eating once had life... and felt a lot of pain when they kill her so you can have on that plate???" He just looks at me and I tell him... "You should go vegetarian"... he usually tells me that he feels bad and that yes.... he is serously considering going veg.
But of course... I do not say anything to other people... I do respect the habits of other people... I guess I tell that to my husband because we can talk to each other about anything....

it depends on how they do it, my dad always perposly chews his beef in front of me, to get me mad, then they are not respecting you, but telling them that, they'll look at you as if your joking. but if they are just eating, then unless already on the conversation, dont mention it, because you cant go to every person who eats meat and tell them to choke.
