Well, it's hard for us Y!A folk to tell you why you get UTIs, but we can suggest more ways for you to fight them.

1. Take a cranberry supplement. Cran cocktail is no good. Either drink 100% cran juice, or take a cranberry tablet. I recommend the tablets -- 100% cran juice can hurt your teeth! I buy my cran tabs at Trader Joe's, but they're available at any drug store.

2. Avoid thong underwear. Thongs are strongly linked to increased UTI and yeast infection risk. Choose a light 100% cotton brief, bikini or hipster instead. Anything but the butt floss! That little strand going up your crack is actually very good at transferring bacteria from your anus to your vagina and urethra (thanks to all the pulling, shifting and what-not that happens you wear them).

3. Drink lots of water. Cut back on caffeine and alcohol.

That is a question best asked to a doctor. Could have something to do with your diet.

Avoid colored toilet tissue, colored underwear and bubble bath. Look for items in the baby isle for sensitive skin. :)
