Heart rate ranges somewhere between 60-100. Usually the rate >100 is reactionary to something. That something has a long list, here is some of the things that may relate to you: stress, pain, anxiety, still could be anemia- but you should have other signs as well, dehydration, exercise, many medical conditions- for example hyperthyroidism/overactive thyroid.
Some symptoms & signs of anemia are tiredness/decreased energy, pale nailbeds and pale linings of the eye (conjunctiva), maybe mimics depression symptoms, and many more.
If there is any doubt, you should get checked by a doctor and at least get a blood test- CBC. It will check anemia, platelets, white blood cells, etc. Who knows, your doctor may even throw in a thyroid test, bottom line, see someone to be sure.

Man I just love school nurses LOL..Ok first question is how does she know you have blood clots with out specific tests being done (all in hospital)? And if you did have blood clots you''d be IN a hospital receiving treatment to dissolve them.....second...many people always feel cold and theyre not anemic...this again can be decided by a simple blood test...third...with some people who dont go to the Dr.s alot they may be slightly anxious without even knowing it thus raising your heart rate....and the rate you state I wouldnt worry about it..just the RN stating the anemia etc probably got your heart racing a bit....dont worry about it...remember that also if you drank coffee/soda or smoked prior to going into physical you will have a higher heart rate...if this idea still bothers you then go see your Dr for peace of mind and talk to your parents...

Average value is 72 beats per minute, 60 to 80 is considered normal, lack of blood also causes heat rate to jump to maintain normal blood pressure
