agreed!
when I became a vegan I never asked people if I can eat this or that. I do the research myself to make sure what I'm eating is indeed vegan.
also, one thing that caught my attention in this section is that sometimes people give false information and the asker picks that person for a best answer meanwhile that person is just giving an idiotic opinion.. for example when people ask if vegetarians eat fish and someone answers saying yes they pick their answer.. it seems as if they just listen to what they WANT to hear and ignore the correct information ACTUAL vegans and vegetarians give them..
people just want labels.. if you're going to eat something that's not vegan or vegetarian, something that you love and don't want to let go of then go ahead but stop labeling yourself something that you're not.
just my 2 cents.

Yeah, people asking what they can't eat is annoying. They should already know in general what a vegetarian doesnt eat, since they decided to become one.
It's also annoying how many people ask the same questions over and over, when they can just look at the resolved questions, since the ones asking for vegetarian recipes in general, have been asked 20 times before.

I have the feeling a lot of the posters here are pre-teens or ignorant teenagers who don't know how to research or are too lazy to read.
Some people, I'm sure, are here to get a general feel of what's okay to do as a vegetarian. Don't let it worry you too much.
Me? I've done my research. I'm mostly here to help guide young vegetarians down the right path so they don't die of a zinc deficiency.
Ok, also to blast trolls. It's sometimes fun.

People are lazy, Nan. Or they don't know where to look.
But when I went vegetarian five years ago, I actually looked for BOOKS to read to educate myself. And I did online resesarch. I figured it out for myself.
I feel like screaming when I'm telling three different people in one day, "No vegetarians DON'T eat fish, they're animals, dingbat," but then there are the people who only need someone to point them in the right direction.

To be honest I did little research when I became a vegetarian but if I go vegan I'll do a lot of research because it'll be a bit harder to get my nutrients.

The mules are conscientious , honorable, animal lover& gentle
creatures & i think that they are like me.
If you place a plate of meat meal in front of "them" I dout that
they would eat it but "dude" would !
I think I'll proudly die as a vegan .
