Wow, it is great that you are recovering as you are. BRI had a good suggestion though, maybe you could teach guitar? I know that would probably still be difficult though. My grandmother had a stroke and she was told she would not use her right arm and hand again, but she kept on pushing until she could do some things with it and before she could do nothing with it, she still even played the piano some after she kept pushing herself. So please keep trying also. I know this must be extremely frustrating to you though. I wish you the best and keep trying and hang in there.

Best wishes.

Well done and Good luck. keep up with the therapy because the brain has to lrearn new pathways through when the old ones have died. Repetition is the answer.
My Dad had a stroke and made a 95% recovery over a period of time.
Sorry about the guitar playing, but you knoe what they say - onwards and upwards - time for a new hobby or teaching guitar perhaps.

Consider your self lucky or blessed. My wife had a series of brain stem strokes, which left her with locked in syndrome and immobile from neck to toe, and she can't speak. She can use a computer to communicate. She will never recover. It happened 9 years ago. We have two kids 9 and 11.
