My sister is a vegetarian and she has had the veggie burger there twice, she said it was ok, could use some more flavoring though so maybe ask for extra sauce? There is a different in patty though so you would be able to tell if they tried to slip you a meat patty...no worries.

BK's veggie burgers came about because of the boycott PETA had against them a few years ago. After PETA completed the boycott against McDonald's, (for slaughter methods in the production of chicken products) they moved onto BK and Wendy's. After a few months BK agreed to the changes PETA was suggesting, and to appease PETA even more so, added the BK veggie. The Boycott continues against KFC, who still uses antiquated slaughtering methods. They have been able to continue purchasing chickens from houses that abuse chickens.
(Sorry, but I wrote a really long paper on the whole boycott thing, it was not pro-PETA, or BK, I wrote it with a fan of BK, actually to avoid bias).
PETA did advertise it for a little while on their site.
I have had one, it wasn't good. But it was an option, on a long hot road, with no choices.

order something from PETA and they will send you a free coupon for BK on that sandwich. I use to buy doggie biscuits for the Animal Shelter from them and get it. They are like a bean burger but are also throwed on the grill like the other bugers. I found out. It's up to you.

They have veggie burgers? I didn't know that. Thats kind of exciting actually. us vegetarians are slowly taking over.
There's no way they'd slip you a Whopper, its against the food safety and customer satisfaction regulations. I'll try it out.
