I know you guys aren't doctors but, I was wondering if you had a blood transfusion back in 1984 what would be the odds that you may contracked the virus?

Have you been tested since then? Unfortunatly it is possible, however since it's been overy twenty years it likely would have been noticed in a blood test. Although it can remain dormant for a long time, you probably have nothing to worry about. If you're still concerned then I would definitly suggest going to the doctor and checking it out, if only for peace of mind.
