You will be surprised by how many veggie meals there are, even the "TV dinner" style, they are called Amy's, not sure if i spelled that right. Just google it, and you will find tons of recipe is. Another thing is to take a great multi-vitamin. You want to be sure to get all you need. Good luck, an happy dining. :)

Good for you. You've already made the first step.
Many meals you make are or can easily be made vegetarian.
Yves makes a number of veg*an options (check the refrigerator case at your local grocery store), including taco filler that's very similar to ground meat. Chop some veggies, get some taco shells, and you have an easy dinner.
If a recipe calls for chicken broth, use vegetable broth. If a recipe calls for beef broth, use mushroom broth (it's not as esay to find, but there are mushroom boullion cubes).
If there is a Whole Foods, Wild Oats, or natural foods store in your area, they should have veggie burgers in the frozen (or refrigerator) section.
The following companies make veggie foods:
Amy's Kitchen
Yves
Gardenburger
LightLife

Why buy the veggie burgers when you can make them?
16oz can pumpkin, some oatmeal & wheat germ, add in soya sauce(light) and if you like some seasoning salt.
optional: diced onions. Mix all together and you got fake hamburger. Use it as you would any hamburger but cook in oil if using fry pan and grease pan if you're make meat loaf.
for making fake meatballs taste good dip them in oil before cooking with spagetti or maccaroni! My Veggy Corner booklet my help you order from me or pick copy up at Library. Only 25 copies made! 10 donated to Library!

See these guides to transitioning to vegetarianism:

Basically, work with the meals and recipes you already like and find ways to adapt them to be vegetarian.. for instance, pasta and meatballs becomes pasta and Nate's Meatless Meatballs.
Most grocery stores have veggie burgers nowadays. Whole Foods has a great variety of veggie burgers and other faux meats. Here's a guide to the best mock meats: http://vegcooking.com/guide-favs.asp

One thing you can do is continue to make the things you used to make, but just change the meat ingredients to a plant-based alternative. Here are some examples:
Tacos / Burritos -- use beans instead of meat
Spaghetti -- use TVP (textured vegetable protein) instead of meat
Chili -- use kidney beans and TVP
Stir Fry -- use Tempeh, Seitan or Tofu instead of meat
When you're ready to branch out, check out the website link included. It's my favorite "online cookbook". Best of luck!
