I've found several brands of vegan one-a-day multivitamins, and most days I take one. I also drink Emergen-C supplements, usually the vitamin C type. It's good for a pick-me-up in the afternoon. Most of their varieties are suitable for vegans.

Before I turned vegan, I took a One-a-Day multivitamin. But now that I'm eating much healthier, I just take a vitamin aimed at vegetarians/vegans. The One-a-Day had pretty much EVERYTHING in it, because I had a terrible diet of mostly meat. Now I just need the stuff that a vegan diet typically lacks: B12, iron (I have been anemic in the past), etc etc. I've always thought taking a vitamin is a good idea for anyone just to cover all the bases.

I take a vegan multi-vitamin, and a b12 vitamin spray. I don't just do this because I am vegetarian, but because I think everyone should take a multivitamin to fill in the holes where your diet is laking.

Especially were I am (I am deployed in the middle east) all we have to eat is food from the chow hall, and that can be lacking, especially when we haven't gotten a food shipment in a while. A multivitamin helps insure that, even on a diet of potatoes and canned peas, I stay at optimum health!

I do take vitamins, but not regularly. I kind of go by how I feel and it probably ends up being 3-5 times a month. I use the VegLife brand, for what it's worth.

If I've been getting extra tired or moody, I'll take one of my one-a-day mulitivitamins. If I have monthly cramps or muscle soreness from working out, I'll take a Calcium-Magnesium-Vitamin D.

I guess you could say I use them kind of medicinally. Other than that, I rely on a varied diet that includes things like fortified cereal and soy milk to get what I need.

I'm vegan and I don't take any vitamins. I've never gotten sick either because my diet is well balanced and I make sure I get vitamins, such as vitamin B12, that are sometimes thought to only be found in meat, from soy milk and cereal.

i used to but ive stopped because most vitamins that you can buy have some sort of animal by-product in them, usually gelatin.
that is, unless you go to a special health foods store and buy a truly vegetarian vitamin, which are kind of hard to find

I do. I take a mulit-vitamin, but not because I'm a vegetarian. I was taking it before making that lifestyle change.

I do, I take about 6 kinds of vitamins. Usually B complex vitamins, cause Vitamin B12 and B6 and B2 are only found in meat. I also take flex-seed and magnisium too.
