probably because you aren't used to them. eat them a lot more often and eliminate junk food from your life and i'm almost sure you will grow to love fruits and veggies..your uncle is right, if you ate healthier you wouldn't of got that many colds..probably not even one!.

you might not believe me but your taste buds will slowly adapt to making you like them

we all like the sneeky bit of junk food now and again but i used to be like you. Junkaholic!!! Id never cook or even consider eating fruit and veg maybe an apple but now i think i've eaten about 6-7 portions today and about to have blueberries for desert

you eat them loads for a week and then soon you'll be craving some celery.you just have to try and eat as many as you can whenever you can.

i am taking the opportunity to get myself de-stressed with a good diet and healthy exercise. i tend to allow myself a little junk as long as the fruit and vegetables are in the picture. so for instance now i had half a plate of veggies and a couple baked breaded chicken breasts from the supermarket as a little treat.

when im eating well i dont get sick i think it will extend your life (and looks!) in a major way to be a lifelong fruit and veg eater.

As a general rule, no two people have the sames tastes. Everyone has likes and dislikes, you just happen to not like the way plant material tastes. Your taste buds recieve the chemicals from plant grown food pourly. Just keep eating it or mix them in with meat or stratch dishes and they'll be more easily consumed.

like previously said, manipulate your palate. it takes getting used to certain foods, especially if you didn't like them in the first place or don't eat them on a normal basis. my husband used to HATE mushrooms and mustard... but now, he doesn't eat a single sandwich without putting some mustard on it. we used to drink soda all the time... we would always make sure to have cans available at our disposal at home, but now we very rarely drink soda... only when we happen to dine out with family members.

your body is trying to tell you that it's not getting enough nutritious foods. all the junk food you're eating is not giving your body the proper nutrients to function optimally. perhaps you can start limiting your intake of junk food. slowly start weaning yourself off of the junk and start increasing your intake of fruits and veggies. start off with familiar produce, such as strawberries, peaches, apples, bananas, and then lettuce, spinach, brocolli...

best wishes! :)
