Vegetarians(who choose to consume dairy and eggs):

dairy (milk, cheese, and yogurt) --- Yes
eggs--- Yes
fish--- No (its an animal)

Vegans(don't eat any animal products)
dairy--- no (animal product)
eggs--- no (animal product)
fish--- no (animal)

Hope that helps :]

Now think. Fish is meat... they don't eat that. If they are vegan, then NO animal by-products, which would mean no dairy (milk, eggs, cheese, yogurt, etc.) And they aren't "veggie people". They are vegetarians.

yea some do eat/drink milk, yogurt, cheese, and eggs but a real true vegetarian doesn't eat fish cos it's animal

They can eat all of those except FISH. Veggies DO NOT eat fish. FISH is STILL meat and fish were once living animals. Same with all sea food.

Veguns can't have any animal biproducts.

It depends on why they're vegetarian. Vegetarians don't eat fish, people who eat fish but no other meat have a different name but I can't remember it. Lacto-vegetarians eat dairy but no eggs. Vegans don't eat animal related products, (White meat, red meat, dairy, eggs, etc)

I'm an ovo lacto vegetarian, I don't eat meat, but I eat dairy and eggs.

"veggie people" - if vegetarian - can eat whatever they like, depending on what 'kind' of 'veggie' they are, but basically try to stick to veggies, fruits and grains
"vegans" - (as much as is possible) don't use animal products of any kind - don't wear 'em, eat 'em, or use 'em.

if they're true vegetarians then they wouldn't eat the eggs or fish.

they can, but its rather hypocritical for them to do so. the dairy industry is very closely connected to the meat industry. torture and mistreatement is just as rampant in the dairy business as any other part of the practice of consuming animal.
as for fish, fish are animals. if one is a vegetarian, they cannot eat fish.

Some vegetarians eat fish, most eat all the others, but there are no exact rules- if you think eating one is wrong, thendon't eat it!
