Hi Amanda,
Although you are in great pain I must advise you that if you think you may be pregnant but are not positive, you should think twice about taking the medicine.
Your first step should be to go to your doctor and tell him/her you think you may be pregnant and tell him what medication you are currently taking.
Your doctor can organise the tests to discover whether you are pregnant and he/she can also prescribe other medication for your infection if he/she considers what you are taking at the moment could be harmful to you or a foetus.
The general rule regarding medicines and pregnancy is not to take anything unless it has been prescribed or recommended by a doctor.
Good luck

Have you done a pregnancy test?
You must speak with a doctor about this. Even if your doctor is not in, there must be a doctor who is covering for him. Call the office and explain the situation and tell them that it is necessary to contact a doctor. If, for some strange reason, you cannot get help there, I would recommend going to one of those walk-in emergency places or the Emergency Room of your local hospital.
In the meantime, I would recommend warm compresses on your nose/sinus area, to help relieve the pressure.
Please make sure you get help today, because doctors are even harder to get a hold of on the weekend. Good luck!

When I found out that I was pregnant I stopped taking all prescription drugs---and I had to take serious drugs for my eye pressure. I just did not take tjhe chance. The only time I took a drug given to me was when I ended up with a kidney infection during pregnancy and the docs gave me antibiotics. Those antibiotics might not have harmed my son, but they definitely caused his teeth, both, the first set and the permanent set, to be stained. So even if we are told that there are no side effects from prescription drugs, there can very well be. Consult with your doctor to be sure that you make the right decision

Please don't take any medicine without doctor's advice. Until then boil a glass of water add two pinches of table salt, when Luke warm rinse your nose when ever you feel trouble with the sinus. rinse in a way that pull it deep closing one nostril so that it can reach your throat and then brush it out then again and again until you consume all of the solution. Please do it especially before sleep. You will be relieved.

Call an all night pharmacy and talk to a pharmacist. Ask him if the medicine your Dr. prescribed is safe to take if your pregnant then follow his instructions.
