Yes if they felt compelled to do so. The key word is donate which means that the hair is given up with their own free will and consent.

I am a vegan and I do donate my hair. I did it a couple years ago, and my hair is getting close to being long enough to donate again.
I don't really understand the question... Why are vegans being singled out as if they're the only people who don't donate their hair or something?

Why not? Unless they had certain beliefs about their cutting their hair/ who's going to wear it then I don't see a problem. Some vegans may have a problem donating there hair to meat-eating people. But I myself am a vegan and I support it. Why would you ignore someone in need?

Please look into donating your hair to adults instead of children. There are many more adult cancer patients than kids and only a couple groups that donate for adults. Adults are actually more likely to get treatment if they get a good wig. Many adults are more attached to their hair and less get treatment due to worrying about their hair. Look into Clips for Kindness and Pantene Beautiful Lengths. Do not do locks for love. My normal stylist told me they charge for wigs. They work with disadvantaged children and charge for wigs.

I would. In fact I've been growing my hair for years so that I can donate it to locks of love. I have enough hair now but I would like to be able to donate some and still have very long hair. I'm going to wait until it gets to my knees and then cut it.

Sure, it's for a great cause and no suffering is involved. Vegans don't consume meat or products that involve animal suffering, so I don't see how cutting human hair is even remotely related to being vegan.

Why not? If they had extra hair, that is. I don't see how this has anything to do with being vegan at all.
