How about a cookout with whatever food she picks out?
Or she and her friends can pick out food and cook it together.
She could get a manicurand pedicure before the other girls come over so she can be pampered a bit. Or they can all go get manicures and/or pedicures. Or they can do each others nails at home.
Dinner and movie night at home is pretty cool.....or if you can get an inexpensive hotel room, with the adult being in the room next door...
then they can hang out, eat cake there, go swimming and hot tubbing. Have a sleepover somewhere different than home.
If you can get a Karoke CD, then they could do karoke. Make some virgin strawberry daqueries.
Ahhh to be young again:)

For my 16th birthday we had a karaoke party and video taped it so we could watch it later and make fun of ourselves. It was a fun and silly way to have fun.
Another idea is a scrapbooking party. Have the girls bring over pictures from school and fun times with each other. Buy a couple of scrapbooking kits (about $15-20 each and they include the paper, stickers, and embelishments) for them to share. Each girl can make a couple of scrapbook pages and then they can put them all in 1 album for the birthday girl.

I think a slumber party is a good idea. You can get all your girls together and just have fun...make ice cream sundaes, do makeovers, gossip, watch movies, toilet paper a friend's or a cute guy's house (but be nice and go back and clean it up in the morning!) I remember doing slumber parties with the girl's even in high school, and it was a lot of fun.

Here is some hints, if you know what you all like to do then find something to get you plugged in. Like Music, if you all like the same music, find a concert, ask your parents and theirs for tickets to go to. If you all are crafty, make jewelry, tie-dye t-shirts, take pictures of one another having fun then make picture frames (go to a craft store to get ideas). If you all love to eat, them have a candies and cakes night, you all get recipes of their favorite things and make them together. If you all like to pamper yourselves, ask you mom, aunties, and g-ma to help you but some spa treatments (facial masks and scrubs, foot and pedicure supplies, paint your nails, do each others hair) possible sleep over. Since I do not know where you live, there maybe some clubs in your area that may let you in legally, just you girls have fun singing karaoke, dance off of just go and flirt, jk! If you live near the coast, mountains or somewhere fun outdoors, you can go camping, hike, swim, etc. Oh, you can ask your parents if you can rent a limo and drive about town dressed in your best, eat out at a great restaurant. Or ask to take the local train to a large city and just roam to some sights that you have wanted to see. A major theme park is also a blast. IF you have active friends who are willing and opened minded, you can hosting a murder, seems to sound lame but totally rocks if you get people who are into. I really hopes this helps you, enjoy yourself. God Bless and be safe!!!

How about 3-8 16 year old boys?
OK, seriously? Without knowing what they like to do, or where you live, it's hard to say.
And let's face it...by the time kids are 16 years old, it's hard to come up with a party theme, and they're a little bit too old for you to do that anyway.
Your 16 year old (and I assume she's your daughter) is a young lady with her own opinions. Why not ask her what she would like to do and go from there?

Well, I always suggest doing a murder mystery dinner party. they seem to go over well. When I turned 16 I had the normal slumber party with 4 other girls, but we got a pinata and I filled it with makeup, nail polish, sample products of hair stuff, etc. We did a movie marathon off chick flicks.
Another time we went camping. It was a little different, but had a great time.

If it's on the lower end of that 3-8 range, you could do a spa day, each girl could choose either a pedicure, manicure, or some other inexpensive treatment, and they could all get their makeup done!

How about a pizza making party or tacos? Everyone could be in the kitchen helping, it's pretty easy to do. Then everyone could help chop, fix the toppings, etc. and then you could watch movies.
