That is entirely false. If anything it makes you more capable. They are just trying to scare you into eating meat which is wrong. Call them out on it and tell them you've made up your mind and there is no changing it. If they continue then remove yourself from the situation. You do not need this kind of stress in your life.

No. In fact the 2nd most populated country in the world, India, has the largest percentage of vegetarians. They have over 1 billion people and about 20-40% are vegetarian.

No, that's not true. The American Dietetic Association, the world's foremost authority on nutrition, says: "Well-planned vegan and other types of vegetarian diets are appropriate for all stages of the life cycle, including during pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood and adolescence."

And if vegetarians can't reproduce, how come there are so many vegetarian women in India who have kids?

Possibly the stupidest thing ive heard today :/
in fact, most commercial meat is loaded up with growth hormones to make the animals grow in days and weeks instead of months.
this causes the meat to be laden with far too much estrogen which and can cause obesity and feminisation in men.
ever notice how men dont just get fat anymore? how some end up with big boobs?!
not just this but the feminisation of men can cause a whole range of other growth problems and can seriously diminish the male puberty effects, like broadening of shoulders, genitalia development, vocal deepening, facial hair development, etc etc....

We can reproduce if we choose to. I personally know vegetarian women who have had beautiful, healthy vegetarian kids. I went into this in more detail for your last question, but had to comment again b/c I feel bad for you, surrounded by (hopefully) well-meaning but very mis-informed people.
Now get back into that pool & have fun!

Dude... what?
What do you think us vegans and vegetarians do with all our spare energy? We can't do nature hikes and eat granola all the time.
Seriously... vegetarians and vegans are normal human beings. We have babies.
Besides- since we're generally healthier- lower average body mass, less problems with cholesterol, more energy, less chance of cancer- wouldn't you think it would be easier to reproduce?
