Herpes can affect the entire body! When most people think of herpes they think of either cold sores (oral herpes) or genital herpes. A person can get herpes of the eye (ocular herpes) by touching a cold sores or genital sore and then rubbing their eye. This is why it is SO important to always wash your hands thoroughly after touching any herpes sore.
Herpes can also affect the fingers. It's called herpetic whitlow, which are herpes sores on the fingers.

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. Herpes is spread through FRICTION contact, not fluids.
If you have a cold sore and you touch it with your finger, then you go rub your eye, you can inoculate your eye and get herpes lesions there.
However, if you do take a money shot to the eye, you can get gonorrhea pinkeye from it.

Touching a cold sore on your lip and then rubbing your eye. Oral cold sores are herpes. It has nothing to do with someone shooting in your face, herpes isn't passed in bodily fluids!

¡Ánimo! Para curar el herpes, lo primero que tienes que hacer es no tocártelo mucho, no vaya a ser que se te infecte y se te queden las marcas del herpes, o te hagas daño en la zona. Aunque moleste o aunque te entren ganas, déjatelo en paz.
