i have been diagnosed with chlamydia once before a few years back, and i realy dont remember having symptoms except for yellowish discharge...well i think i may still have it...i have been having a lot of realy itchy, yellow discharge, with an odor to it and im going back to my dr. for testing but im just wondering if it could also be something else besides and std because i am pregnant.

Chlamydia often NEVER shows symptoms, so the fact that you had yellow discharge means you at least noticed something was up.

There's nothing we can tell you here at Y!A that could help you with your current problem, though. It *could* be Chlamydia. Or it *could* be another infection. It might not be a STD. Either case, you need to see a doctor and get the problem identified by a culture swab. Sorry we couldn't be more specific.

It depends on the smell. If it smells like bread (yeast)or some other mild scent, then it is a yeast infection. If it smells like fish or trash (not trying to be funny; that is how i smelled when I had a bacterial infection), then it is probably bacterial vaginosis. Being pregnant makes you over-produce hormones ands bacteria that your body naturally produces. I hope this helps and good luck!!

if its itchy and yellow..it could be a uti...but when u said smell too it...its probably a std called trimonchosis..cant even spell it..but thats the symptons of that...u take 4 antibiotics and its gone..pregunancy causes yeast infections and bladder infections..dont be scare go to the doctor..u got ur baby to think about now...and im sure he will let you know

it may be Chlamydia or just a bacterial infection which is not sexually transmitted. but u will need antibiotics to treat both.
