One year for New Years Eve, my friends and I had a "Dress As Your Favorite Decade" party. Everyone dressed like different decades. There were flappers from the 20s, poodle skirts and leather jackets from the 50s, hippies from the 60s, disco dancers from the 70s, Madonna types from the 80s, etc. Also, for one of our "girls only" parties, we had a prom party, where everyone wore prom dresses. We actually had the prom theme of "Enchantment Under the Sea" like from Back to the Future. We even bought a blow-up man. He was everyone's date and we each had our picture made with him. LOL

Buy cheap cameras and give all your guests one so they can be their own popperotzi. um...Try to find celeb cut outs and have them around the party scene and let guests take pictures with them too. Have glitter on tables and use fun cups like martini glasseses or something. Use hollywood colors like gold, silver, red, white, and black.
