That little package inside you instant noodles right? No..., they are products of chicken-parts after fermentation process, MSG etc., check the other package too, they could be are pork fat. You can buy ramen noodles that is all vegetable base in many brands nowadays(I know there is Korean brands is all vegetable base) or just discard the flavour packages & replace with vegetable stocks.

Chicken is chicken :]
So powdered chicken is not vegetarian.
Most Ramen noodles aren't vegetarian (chicken, beef, etc.)
I've heard that the oriental one is vegetarian... I'm not sure though I've never read the ingredients... The only way to be sure is to check the ingredients.

Personally I'd say no. I do eat Ramen noodles so long as there is no meat or meat product (pork fat; beef stock/fat; chicken stock/fat, powdered chicken/beef/pork, shrimp powder, etc).

If you're going to eat chicken powder, you may as well eat chicken.

Top Ramen Oriental flavor is vegetarian, I believe. Additionally there are brands that cater specifically to vegetarians. Check your local co-op or health food grocery.

Powdered chicken stock is still a dead chicken, as is the powdered stuff in ramen noodles. The animal still died in the process of making it, so it would not be considered vegetarian. Besides, that stuff is loaded with sodium, artificial colors and flavors, and other unhealthy stuff. You would be doing your body a favor to make fresh pasta, and season it with a little soy sauce, olive oil and garlic, or other seasonings.

Powdered chicken is still CHICKEN!!!

So NO, you do not eat powdered chicken or chicken fat or chicken stock if you want to be considered a vegetarian.

There are ramen mixes out there without powdered animal parts.
