I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian, which means I eat eggs and concume dairy as well. Last year in my biology class, we had to dissect a frog, and the preservative it was in smelled like egg. Since I was against the whole "dissection" thing, I was pretty upset the whole week. Now when I smell eggs, I feel nauseous, and once I even threw up!
Therefore, i don't eat eggs just...as they are. But if the eggs are, for example, in cake, I'll eat them. :]

I do, though most of my eggs come from a family I know who have a dozen or so laying hens on a small, 1/4 acre property. They're more like pets so no battery cages. But, I also eat eggs from restaurants, etc. which I doubt are even cage free. On the other hand, no gelatin, leather products, silk, etc. We all have to draw our lines somewhere.

I do. It's good protein. And I don't feel guilty becausewe get them for free from my father-in-laws twenty free-range pet hens.

It's called ovo-vegetarian. Veggies who eat eggs AND dairy are ovo-lacto.

It depends on why they don't eat meat. If it's because they don't like killing animals, they might eat eggs. If it's because they don't like using animals for food, they don't eat eggs. If it's a religious reason, that varies too.
