It depends on which markets you go to. Depending on where you live, but theres a dominicks near me that sells this brand called sushi with gusto., and they actually have a chef that preparesit in the back. They also do this at my local woodmans. Look up this brand, and see where else they may have them preparing them near you. I love sushi, but I have a eight month old, and its hard to go to a resteraunt. So, when I get my groceries, I always pick up a case, the chef even made me a special order to pick up when I was done shopping. Its pretty good, and I know they just made it. Its worth your while to look into it. good luck.

No! Supermarket Sushi is horrible. Im not that big a fan of Sushi, but I absolutely hate supermarket versions of it. If you cant get the real thing from a well known resteraunt, then I wouldnt bother!

No-one ever thinks of it, but our best sushi restaurants here do a ton of call-in/take-out orders.

Whole Foods Market has good sushi though...but like everything else, you've got to see who's making it and then go from there.

I wouldn't go for them. When I want sushi I want it at the very height of freshness, and that's what you get from the sushi bar. Pre-packed sushi isn't godawful, but nowhere near as satisfying as sushi prepared before your very eyes.

Most of them don't hold a candle to fresh sushi.

I would just eat something else until I had time to get to a Sushi bar instead.

I have actually had good luck with grocery store sushi. Food Lion, Wal-Mart and Lowe's Foods carry it.

If they're fresh and kept cold, and the place is clean. It won't be the same as going to a sushi bar, but it's okay.

It's okay when you are hungry, but not as fresh as the sushi bar.

I've gotten them from Publix and Harris Teeter. You will be SOOO disappointed. They're not horrible- just not anywhere near the same as from restaurants.
