my bday is at the end of august and i could have a swimming party cause i have a pool or have a dance party and i really dont know what to do.what do you think? also i dont really want to have a party cause i dont have a lot of friends and i feel embarrassed but i want a party,

Those two ideas just turned your party into a pool party, a luau, indoor beach party (by turning your backyard into a beach scene) or even a pool rave....
Let´s see.... by combining the two you can have a great time and your guests will have a blast and by being the party of the summer the word will pass along to everybody and you will probably will have to have security at the door...
Just start the party in the afternoon so you can enjoy the sun with good food and lots of great exotic and virgin drinks and wyle the sun sets crank up the music and turn the party ligths on and just dance till someone calls the cops in the meantime keep the drinks coming and some snacks...
So in conclusion just pass the word that you will be having a party and have some friends to help you organize the details so you'll have a blast on your sweet 16..

If you don't have a lot of friends, why put yourself under the stress of wondering if people will show up to your party. Get the friends you have together and spend the party money on a fun time together with them.

have them both have a pool party with some wikid tunes then at night you can dance the night away maybe get your friends to invite a friend so you meet more people.
