Rent some horror movies or action flicks, order pizza and hang out with your friends.

I think your friend should be planning something for your birthday. Since its your special day, you should be treated as such. Here are some ideas that are easy on the wallet:

- Bottle Party (if you are over 21)- Everyone brings their favorite bottle of wine or liquor and you share.
-Tapas Party - Everyone can bring their favorite appetizer or small plate.
-Dinner Party- Divide it up and have each person bring a different course (You could provide the main course such as meat) Everyone else is responsible for the appetizer, salad, vegetables, dessert (you get the idea)

Hope this helps... Happy Birthday!

If you don't have any money, and no one is giving you a party, then I guess you'll have to skip this year. A lot worse things could happen. Get a cheap cake and some ice cream and blow out the candles. Why do you think you deserve a party, at every ones expense?
