No. That is not vegetarian.

The Webster Dictionary definition of Vegetarian is one who believes in or practices vegetarianism, a diet consisting wholly of vegetables, fruits, and sometimes eggs or dairy products.

If you eat living creatures, (sea animals or land animals, it doesn't matter which)...you are Not a vegetarian.

Pesco-Vegetarians (fish eating) or Pollo-Vegetarians (Poultry eating) are made up terms. Neither category can technically call themselves vegetarians, as they are eating flesh from a formerly living creature, not a plant, which is in direct disagreement with the textbook definition of vegetarianism.

This is the THIRD question I've seen today on the subject. And there are probably more I've missed because I haven't been able to check every question--I have a life.

No, you idiot, chicken and fish are not vegetarian. And I wouldn't be so harsh if I hadn't seen two other dingbats today asking if fish was vegetarian, and if I hadn't seen who knows how many other questions since I joined asking if fish/chicken was vegetarian.

If you eat animal flesh, no matter how little of it you eat; no matter what types of animals you eat (as in, you don't eat mammals), YOU ARE NOT A VEGETARIAN!!!!!! What part of that is so hard to understand?! People, save yourself the 10 freaking points and LOOK before you ask.

If you are trying to reduce the amount of animal flesh you consume, or you only eat it once in a while, you are a meat-reducer. If someone asks, you can say you don't eat red meat.

some people say they are a vegeterian but still eat chicken and fish, because they think chickens and dumb and fish dont feel pain

i think the true definition of a vegeterian is a person who eats no meat, so i dont really think you are a vegetarian

No.

Some people eat chicken and fish and call themselves vegetarians.

Vegetarians who don't eat these things always say "those people aren't vegetarian; they eat animals."

no, u are definitely 100% not a vegetarian. A vegetarian is a person who does not eat meat, fish, and any living organisms. There as several types of vegetarian based on your beliefs, such as religion or health concern.

Budhism believe that all living things have spirit, therefore, should not be eaten. My wife is a vegetarian almost her whole life, she cannot eat any byproduct of living organism, garlic, and onion; however, eggs are ok. People who are concern with health, can eat garlic and onion, but not byproduct of living organism.
