Of course.

Just because a person has sex with someone (protected or not) who has a STD doesn't mean it's a guarantee they will contract the STD themselves.

If a person has unprotected sex with a person who has HIV or another STD though, their chances of contracting the STD are much greater then if they were to have protected sex. Even with the use of condoms, there is still a chance of contracting a STD. Condoms are not 100% effective. They definitely HELP prevent the spread of STDs, but they are not 100% effective.

All it takes is ONE time though to contract a STD. So, if you are going to have sex, make sure you always use condoms. Even though they are not 100% effective they are MUCH more effective then unprotected sex.

The odds are actually one in 500 of contracting HIV during sex it may seem like alot but it really is not it all depends on the pos persons virus count in there body the higher their virus count the higher your chances. There is a website called The Body that has all sorts of questions answered by HIV experts. I do recommend geting tested every 3 months for the next year. Also if that person knew that they were positive and practiced unsafe sex with you without telling you prior that is a crime in most states.

You absolutely can become HIV negative from having unprotected sex with an HIV positive person. So, if you have, please see a heathcare provider immediately. In fact, you will need to get tested regularly for the next 6 months. It could take up to that long before the virus develops. Good luck!

yes it is possible to still be negative esp. if there was no tearing during sex. the chances are less if he doesn't ejaculate inside you but there is always the chance of precum. but you should get tested and it may take a few months for the results to be accurate. i do hope this turns out well for you.

That's scary. But don't guess, and please get tested now. No point in asking the opinion of anyone on here. I hope you did not get pregnant. See a Dr asap, and good luck.
