I wouldn't have real meat products. What brand of veggie burgers and chix? etc. I have always thought that a vegetarian fast food restaurant would do very well if it was done right. Would you eat at a vegetarian fast food restaurant?

What a great idea! Here are some foods I'd love to have at a vegetarian fast food restaurant, with the brand names in parentheses.

-Bean / veggie burritos with soy cheese and vegan sour cream (Tofutti)
-Grilled cheese with soy cheese
-Non-dairy milkshakes (Silk, Purely Decadent)
-Soy ice cream sundaes (Purely Decadent)
-Chik'n burgers (Boca)
-Veg chicken nuggets (Boca or Health is Wealth)
-Veg ribs (Gardenburger)
-Veggie burgers (Boca)
-Vegan cheeseburgers (Boca, Follow Your Heart)
-Pasta and veg meatballs (Nate's Meatless Meatballs)
-Subs with vegan mayo (Vegenaise) and veg meatballs or deli slices (Tofurkey)
-Veggie chili
-Salad with veg chicken strips (Morningstar Farms Meal Starters Chik'n Strips)
-BLTs with veg bacon (Smart Bacon)

Things that either heat fast, stay good for a while, or deep fry.

Sandwiches, veggie burgers, veggie sushi, falafel, french fries, soy shakes and ice creams, grilled cheese, hush puppies, *good* salads, subs, chips...

As a vegetarian restaurant, it would be nice if there was a decent vegan selection, and whether something was vegan or not clearly labeled... would probably double the potential consumer base (esp. since vegetarians have more restaurants to choose from).

After living with a vegetarian there are so many healthy and delicious vegetarian foods. Some that I would like to see are:
Veggie chicken nuggets
Veggie chili
Veggie burgers
Peanut butter and Jelly
Smoothies and Shakes with added protein
Salads and tons of veggies
Yogurt
Baked french fries
You can get meat free lettuce wraps at whole foods they are so good. :)

I hope these help. Also consider meat free soups such as potato and vegetable.

Sandwiches that don't revolve around soy burgers. Vegan chik'n wraps with veggies. Good french fries. Vegan friendly desserts like soy milk shakes.

If you're looking for brands for veggie meats, I'd go with Amy's Kitchen for veggie burgers and Morningstar Farms for veggie crumblers and chik'n strips.

Gardenburger has these little things that look like jalapeno poppers, but are filled instead with broccoli and cheese or a breakfast scramble (soy "beef", duh). I'd love to have those with some potato wedges.

I'm even a huge fan of broccoli....I'll take a broccoli cup over fast food any day :)

Veggie burgers, cooked on a separate grill.
Veggie "chickin" strips or nuggets, cooked separately from meat products.
Fries, cooked separately from meat products.
Tempeh and vegetable sandwiches (I do NOT trust mass-produced tofu!)--like a tempeh burger with your choice of toppings.
Vegan parfaits or vegan soft serve ice cream.
