I was sitting, when I felt this horrible, pressurin pain on my left chest and the pain felt as if it seeped right through my chest and then my back started hurtin like crazy. And then my left arm started hurtn & shakin. This happened for about a min & then the pain started subsidin lil' by lil' & my whole body went cold.

When it was happening, I told my colleague, 'I think I'm having a heart attack'. She laughed and said, 'Oh stop bein silly' & walked away. Why, u may ask, did she react that way? Because I'm 21.

Is it possible!? To have a heartattack at 21? I'v neva felt any pain like that before; felt as if something was squeezing heart. It happened this mornin and its past midnyt here & my back still hurts.

I'm goin to the docs in the weekends but I still wanna know ppl's opinion. My doc told me a few months ago that I'm a hidden diabetic (type 2). Am not overweight, am quite fit. So, some1 pls fill me in, am scared to go to bed & have a heartattack & not wake up anymore.

chest pain is always scary, i know how u feel as i too am having these same sorta symptoms yet even more than you mentioned! im having popping in my left chest and sharp pains, and shooting pains up my arms. I really want the pain to go and i have been going to alot of different doctors.

I one day suddenly need to breathe properly because my heart raced, i thought i was going to die and when i got hospital i had to sit on the floor i was that nauseous! by the time i was seen my heart had got back its normal rythm and id felt really weak mostly in my left side.. and when i said to the doc it felt like a aheart attack they just laughed.

seriously a doctor cant feel what your having, only yourself can tell what pain you have, i have told them how serious my pain is because it is very bad... but however it always seems to come when im not near hospital!

my back is also hurting too, i guess the answer is anyone can have a heart attack, its rare but really i dont think you will and nor will i (okay i admit i feel like im dieing) but i think eventually me and you will both get over this pain :)

im scared to sleep too and i feel exactly the same, i just posted to let you know that your not alone and i do too have these same symptoms and fears. i woke once choking and once with a very bad sharp pain or pressured chest. its horrible but i hope that when you get to the doctors they find out whats wrong.

good luck and take care

This could be any number of things. I, too, am young and in shape. I work out, eat right, and am the right weight. I started having chest pains a few years ago and was concerned that if I went to the doctor, he would laugh at me. To make a long story short, I just found out last month that I have heart palpitations and mitral valve regurgitation. Though it is not deadly, it does make me feel as if I am having a heart attack.
Your symptoms are by no means "healthy" or "ok". You need to see your doctor right away - call them and tell them about your symptoms. They will probably bring you in and do an EKG. If that is normal, they may order a cardiac echo test to look at the inside of your heart. It is very important to have this checked, anyone can have heart attacks or heart issues at any age.
Chances are, you are fine - and this was a random thing, BUT, in the case of your heart - it is much better to play the safe route. Hope you are feeling better!

You need to see your doctor about your symptoms. Call them immediately and see what they recommend... they may want you to go to the emergency room for an ekg and some monitoring.
Your collegue should not have reacted that way. Sure you're only 21, but I know for a fact if somebody looked at me and said "I think I'm having a heart attack" I would definitely take them seriously. My mother had a heart attack when she was only 32 years old... still young, but it happened. That was 6 years ago and they still monitor her closely.
Bottom line... CALL YOUR DOCTOR ASAP! It's better to be safe than sorry. 21 years old or not, a heart attack is not something to play around with.

Hope this helps. Good Luck. :-)

The chance of that being an actual heart attack at your age is remote. It may have been angina pectoralis, which is often indistinguishable from other heart attacks, esp if you have poor circulation. It may also have been a panic attack.
However, for the sake of safety, I recommend that you go immediately to an urgent care clinic, 24 hour care clinic, or ER, and make sure that they perform an EKG (a measure of the electrical activity in your heart...ask for a female tech) and a Cardiac Enzyme panel (a simple blood test...they will stick your arm). Have someone else drive.

You should go to the E.R whenever you are having chest pain. They will do a blood test and look for elevated enzyme level which always accompany heart attach. This takes all the guess work out of diagnosis.

Sorry... I dunno approximately guinea pigs. Never had one... I'm honestly like, eleven and I'm gonna be 12 in March + I'm a woman, however that is no longer the factor, however I advocate a bunny. SUPER luvable!!! You can instruct it methods and it might probably be taught tips on how to do the agility factor and it is relatively simply... tremendous!!!! Get one! Or if you happen to just like the guinea pig opt for it! There are others to opt for from too. There are ferrets, chinchillas, hamsters, mice, and birds. Go for what you believe fits your persona or what you believe you could like! Good Luck! I desire this helped! ~Renny

That wasn't a heartattack! Unless you are morbidly obese (over 300 pounds), it is very very rare for a 21 yearold female to get one. It was probably demon possession that did it. The incubi sex demons have been getting stronger since the leash that God has placed on Lucifer is weakening (end times). I will pray for you.
