Stress will raise your blood sugar... diabetic or not.
If you're not sure you're a diabetic, just get a glucose tolerance test, AND a hemoglobin A1C test... that way, you'll know for sure if you are or aren't.
Even if you test positive, it's no big deal. Keep doing what you're doing. Read this for more:

A diabetic is a diabetic. I have never heard of "stress diabetes". But I have heard of stress affecting the blood sugar of a diabetic. My bs tends to elevate if I am stressed. Maybe your doctor told you that stress was causing your increased symptoms. You are either type 1 or 2. That is what I have understood all my diabetic life and during my nursing career.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

I wonder if, when you are taking ayurvedic medicine, you are also eating a more healthful diet which helps control both the frequent bowel movements and the diabetes?
Stress can contribue to higher blood sugar numbers.
But frequent bowel movements are not usually part of the picture. In fact, people with high blood sugar are often constipated due to dehydration.
Because of the frequent bowel movements and the rapid weight loss, I suspect you may have irritable bowel sydrome.
This would be unrelated to wether or not you have diabetes.
Irritable bowel syndrome can cause you to have movements immediately after eating. It can often be controlled with diet. That's why I'm wondering if it is controlled by eating differently under ayrveda.

Hi,
Basically you have Type II diabetes. In stress there occurs an imbalance in the metabolism. Usually in stress, the same amount of diabetes medicine and the same type of food can lead to increase in blood sugar levels. The loss of weight in short span of time is not healthy. I would advise you to stop taking the ayurvedic medicine and control your blood sugars with a balanced diet and exercise. This will build up your energy level as well.
Regards,
Dr. Gupta
