The ONLY way to know for sure if you have a STD is by going to the doctor and getting tested for it.

At least gonorrhea is a curable STD, unlike HIV, herpes, or HPV.

See you doctor and get tested. If you do have gonorrhea then they will prescribe some antibiotics and the infected should clear right up.

Good luck!

Gonorrhea is caused by the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae. It typically infects epithelia of the urethra, cervix, rectum, pharynx, or eyes, causing irritation and purulent discharge. Dissemination to skin and joints occurs infrequently. Diagnosis is by culture or genetic methods. Several antibiotic regimens—oral or parenteral—can be used.
Gonorrhea Testing:
A urine test & a swab test - collecting fluid from the penis or vagina by placing a swab in the opening of the urethra; this causes brief discomfort.
* giving a sample of urine
* a genital examination by a doctor or nurse
* taking swabs from the cervix (entrance to the womb), urethra (tube where the urine comes out), throat or rectum
* women may have an internal examination
Early treatment is simple & effective, & involves a single dose of antibiotics. In addition, the treatment of chlamydia is also advocated. (It is common to have these two STD infections together – 50% have both)
Treatment of Gonorrhea:
* Cipro® XR 500 mg a single dose, or
* Levaquin® 500 mg a single dose, or
* Tequin® 400 mg a single dose;
Treatment of Chlamydia:
* Doxycycline 100 mg 2-3 times a day for 10-14 days
* Zithromax® (azithromycin) 1.0 gm a single dose
* Zithromax® Z-pak® (azithromycin) - 500mg on day 1, followed by 1 tab (250mg) once a day for 4 more days
Please see the web pages for more details on Gonorrhea.

It is not definitive but probably likely if you had unprotected sex, a trip to the doctor for some testing is the only way to find out for sure. Don't delay get it checked.

It is not definite, but you may want to get checked out by a doctor.
Things like this are never definite but likely to happen. So going to the doctor is basically the only and best option you have.

The possibility of infection is very high.
But this bacteria is very easy to be killed.
So don't worry about that too much.
It is even not necessary to see a doctor. (because I am a doctor.)
Just use one kind antibiotic for a week to treat or prevent the gonarrhea.

Likely... yes. Definate... No. Get tested because many women can be carriers and not show any symptoms.
