I have herpes-2. Are rashes and small bumps (both itch) all over my body herpes-2 ?
I am afraid to scratch, and spread them more. Can you spread this by scratching thru your clothes? Do some blisters never break and get scabs? As mine stay blisters. Should I just keep a bottle of antibacterial gel with me to wash my hands all the time? This can be confusing, as I have read different answers. Can my dog get this? I have always kissed him on the nose. These may sound like silly questions, but if you don't know~you have to ask! Thanx for any assistance. Bless you.

You can have chickenpox or shingles (both are caused by herpes simplex virus 3 - HSV3) which appears as a rash or bumps all over the body.
However, HSV2 generally stays in the genital area and can sometimes affect the mouth and lips.
You should see a doctor and get some antiviral medication ASAP if you indeed have herpes. Only a doctor can properly diagnose you and offer/provide treatment. Good luck!

I got identified with genital herpes (type 2) about six years back, while I was still in college and had a mindless one-night stand. i agree with alli, but i don't believe it's called hsv-3, i believe the term is herpes zoster, aka shingles, yes it is a form of herpes, when you were young you might refer to it as chicken pox, if you haven't gotten chicken pox when you were young then most likely you'll encounter it when you're older, after you get it once you won't get it again, however getting shingles later on in life is more dangerous than when you were young. you might want to consult a doctor, and no herpes zoster cannot be trasnmitted through kissing or sneezing on your puppy.
