You could get a blood clot since you have a stent. Is there anyone you can call or even ask a neighbor to go get it for you? Also, call your local police department. I know it sounds strange, but if you explain your situation to them and how dangerous this could be, I am sure they would take you to the drug store. If they can come help gets cats out of trees, I bet they will take you to the drug store to get your medication. Call the doctor on call and tell them your situation. Ask them do they have samples, most offices do have samples. I take Coumadin for artifical heart valve. Going without your blood thinner can be very dangerous.

Also in the future make arrangements to find a drug store that will deliver your medications to you.

In the meantime, DO NOT eat dark green vegetables such as turnip greens, spinach, kale, parsley, mustard greens, they are high in Vitamin K and make the blood thicker.

Some foods/herbs/spices to make your blood thinner are: Dried fruits, nuts, green peppers, tomatoes, black berries, blue berries, cantelopes, oranges, pineapple, raisins, raspberries, strawberries, cranberry sause, egg plant, Curry powder, Cayenne pepper, Ginger, Paprika, Thyme, Cinnamon, Dill, Oregano, Turmeric, Licorice, Peppermint. These foods/herbs/spices are high in Salicylates which make the blood thinner.

Take an aspirin also as this helps thin the blood. But still you should call the doctor on call and talk with him/her about this and ask him about Aspirin also. The most important thing is getting your Plavix as quickly as now!

Best wishes to you.

Call your doctor to see if he/she has some samples they could send you. Isn't plavix more than just a blood thinner? If you need to thin your blood, Garlic will help with that but you should call your doctor to talk about it because you don't want to mess around with this. You should also change to a pharmacy that can deliver, and have your doctor send them a new script. I am not a doctor, so take what I say or what anyone else says with a grain of salt

you absolutely must stay on the medication. Ask for help from family/friends/neighbour... anything.

If you have absolutely no one call your doctor or failing that an emergency charity !

Stopping your medication is life threatening. The blood thinner helps your blood stream to flow through the stint more efficiently and prevents clotting. Its imperative.

You have to find a way to get it. Plavix helps keep a blockage from forming in and around your stent. If you had it done recently it is even more important. Call your doctors office and explain your situation, they may have ways of helping you.

Easy: you can get a blood clot in a leg, the brain, the heart...
If there is no way to go to a pharmacy, prepare a way to get to the hospital. May need it.
