Well, I have a few recipes you might like to use

BEACH BALL COOKIES

2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 stick butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. rolled oats
1/4 c. coconut (optional)

Put the sugar, cocoa, and milk in a saucepan. Boil for 1 minute. Put all the other ingredients in a bowl and mix. Add boiled cocoa mixture. Stir well. Roll into little balls. Roll in coconut, if you like

BEACH BUCKET CAKE

1/2 c. butter, softened
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
3 1/2 c. milk
2 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
12 oz. frozen whipped topping, partially thawed
1 (20 oz.) pkg.) sandwich cookies, crushed
1 plastic sand pail & shovel, gummy worms (for garnish)

Blend butter, cream cheese and sugar with mixer. In second bowl blend milk and pudding. Add the whipped topping to the pudding mixture, then combine the 2 mixtures.
Start layering the cookie crumbs and the creamy mixture in the pail. Making several layers of each, ending with crushed cookies on top. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate several hours.

Oh what fun. I never had a party like that, and I'd have loved one.
Well if it's daytime, you won't need any lighting to worry about like torch lighting. But you will need some entertainment. Ball games of some sort. So it would take a vollyball net and a volleyball or even a Badminton set up. And
of course you'll need some Beach boy music. Maybe some-
ones' parents could let you borrow some CDs or albums if
you had a record or tape player.
You can hang some colorful beach towells on the side of
the house or garage, and you can put down a colorful beach
blanket, and have some folding chairs. You can always play musical beach chairs too. Have a cooler of mixed pops, and a barbeque for roasting marshmellows at the end of what ever meal you decide to have. You may want to make something more special than hot dogs and weiners. But there isn't anything wrong with having them either. Just make
sure you have the metal roasting sticks. You can't have anyone getting sick from green tree limbs.
Oh, and also have a first aid kit, just in case of cuts or burns.
You could make Smore's for dessert, if it's not too hot for chocolate. Or just go with roasting and eating the marshmellows. That is one dessert no one will balk at and
it's not a childish thing to have to eat. All age groups love them, I would guess. But then, you could always have straw-
berries and shortcake. Or make it yourself, sundaes. Having
some different flavored containers and let them make their
own, and have a variety of toppings and syrups. Just make
sure there are enough ice cream scoops to go half around.
It sounds like a great party idea you have.

I decorated for a beach themed dance once. The centerpieces were a small child's pail on its side with sand spilling out. I stuck the shovel in the sand, added a small wooden toy boat from the dollar store. Some small seashells were scattered around and a small votive candle was nestled in the sand. I had seagulls that I made out of heavy card stock suspended from the ceiling Decorative boat flags were also used to decorate. The other decorations were too large to use for a home party. You should set up a net for some ' beach volley ball '. Serve food that you would be able to buy on the boardwalk at the shore. Hope some of these ideas help. PS. sand is extremely cheap at a store like Home Depot. Look on the web for luau party ideas you could adapt.

I had the exact same problem. I only use two products: Dove Mousse (Body&Lift), and Sebastian's Potion 9 cream. Use a golf ball sized amount of the mousse, and distribute evenly throughout all of your hair. Air dry until about 70% dry, then take a pea sized amount of Potion 9 cream, focusing on the lenght of your hair. Scrunch a little bit ever so often while air-drying. Once dry, take a 2" curling iron, and unscrew the clamp, so that it's just a rod. Heat it up to the highest setting, and take your hair, and wrap it around for about 10-15 seconds. I used to have straight hair too, but after doing this for about a week I started to get a lot more waves in my hair. Hope it works as well for you as it did for me!
