I can find turmeric in every supermarket. Even a small
Safeway. It's right there with all the other dried spices, like dried oregano, garlic powder, etc.

Try an Indian type (India) or Middle Eastern store.
Not only is it a nice experience to shop at one of them but the things you will find is awesome. The prices are much more friendly also.
