I'd hate to answer your question with something you didn't want to hear, but here it goes anyway....
Chloroseptic spray or strips work well for the immediate relief of the pain and you should try Cold-ezze lozenges to knock out the cold. Those lozenges are amazing to me but be careful not to use anymore than 3 per day. They're potent and don't exactly taste like candy. I'd keep them in the glove box for whenever you feel something coming on in the future. Also... that sore throat is a prelude to worse things in the very near future in your upper lungs. You should get something quick to knock out all that mucuse from your nose that's dripping into your lungs all night while you're sleeping; anything that'll dry up your nose is fine. Good luck.

Most sore throats go away without treatment, often within a week or so. That's a good thing, because no medical therapy exists for sore throats caused by viral infections. But increasing your fluid intake and getting extra sleep can help speed your recovery.
When you're sick, choose fluids such as water, soups and broths — not sodas or drinks that contain caffeine, which can dehydrate you further. If you find it extremely painful to swallow, try sipping warm broth through a straw or sucking on ice chips. You may also find that jello slides down easily

Try a magic wand???
What do you expect anyone to suggest?
85 % of sore throats are viral and self limiting and nothing that you do changes them much. Drink plenty of fluids, take paracetamol for fever and perhaps use an anti-inflammatory thoat spray, that s all there is!
Antibiotics affect few sore throats, vitamins, lemon and honey do nothing and gargling with salt or aspirin is dangerous. It will be gone in a few days anyway!

u dont say how old ur . if ur over 16 try gargling with soluble aspirin (if u are able to take it) 2 in half glass of water 3x a day. after gargling swallow the aspirin. if u cant take aspirin then whatever painkiller u usually, doc usually recommends paracetamol rather than ibuprofen but whatever u prefer will help. if u have had the sore throat for a while then u should get it checked by doctor to see if u need antibiotics. best wishes.

I know you dont want the usual drinks, but hot chamomile tea will sooth your throat immediately. Nonetheless, you should go to a Dr. asap to treat it in the long run. Also, try not to talk if possible...Good Luck!
Ps. Try Vicks Vapor rub on the outside of your neck while you sleep at night.

If you have had a sore throat for more than three days, you should see a doctor to determine if there is something seriously wrong with you, like strep throat or a bad case of tonsilitis.

There are several things to do. You can suck on a cough drop, if that helps. Also, making green tea, with honey in it really soothes the throat. I have tried it before, and it made my throat feel really better!! There are sprays that you can try. Try resting too, that should help you feel better.
I hope this helps!

It needs to be examined if it's been there a week or more. if u have white spots or pustles it could be tonsilitis which needs antibiotics to clear it.
bottle of ginger may help - it may hurt in the long run but can be useful. Other than that buttercup syrup works for me xxx

Well, this is my "remedy"
Take a spoon of honey everyday, and put a warm cloth up to your throat.
The honey acts as a soothing coating, and is just good for you all around
the cloth helps to make it feel better
BUT
you could have strep, see a doctor*
but if you start to feel sicker, and nauseaus (spelling, sorry!) it could be mono, but dont worry its treatable!
