whenever cooking these two vegetables, put a lot of mint or cumin seeds or even thyme. Eat them well cooked. But do not overcook them as to remove all the vitamins. Steam them in a pressure cooker for about ten minutes.

If you want gas yes. If you want to get rid of gas, no.

Both are difficult to digest (especially when raw) and that makes a gassy tummy.
