I checked my blood sugar at four and it said 117 and I checked it at nine after dinner and it said the exact same thing. The strips expiered in may would that be whats causeing it because isin't it almost impossible for it to be the same before and after a meal with cake and icing. Sorry I am new to this.

You shouldn't use expired test strips and also it says do not use them after 3 months of opening the container. Don't forget to code your meter also.

well, the strips do need to be within the expiration date, the same thing happened to me a couple of months ago, it said 105 three times in a row.

I wouldn't rust expired strips at all. They have an expiration date for a reason.

expired strips are pretty much worthless that is why there is an expiration date on them.

try using a new strip and compare the results.
