some fish has omega 3 fatty acids, like salmon. omega3's are really good for the body, for the skin hair nails, and also aid in brain development in unborn babies. I am a pesca, so i eat fish, and i like it. and i am going fishing for a couple of days. I didn't cut animals out of my diet because of any rediculous PETA BS, i just no longer had the desire to eat the darn things. If you eat meat keep it up, those filthy things are eating all my veggies!!!

I don't eat fish because fish DO feel pain just like cows, chickens, and all the other animals I choose not to eat. Not all the fish you eat comes from the ocean. There are these things called fish farms. These are pretty much the same thing as Factory Farms. The fish are fed antibiotics, there are way too many in the lake, and they use up twice as many natural resources. They use up gas, food supplies, and water to maintain the Fish Farm and then they use up suppies to go kill them in the ocean.

Fish are meat, just not red meat. I belive they are still harmed. Farms put thousands in one tank at a time. It's cruel. I'm a vegetarian and I went vegetarian strictly for the animal's rights.

Hard-core vegans believe that fish are harmed and suffer in the process of fishing. They believe that fishing is cruel, and on the Peta website you can find information on this.

Other reasons vegetarians avoid fish is because the oceans and lakes are heavily polluted, and substances like mercury are found in some fish.

I'm seriously freaked out by fish. I won't swim in the lake or ocean because of the fish. I won't even keep a pet fish.

er...well i never really liked the taste of fish anyway but the reason we don't eat fish is because fish is also meat. fish are living creatures too so they are just as important as cows or pigs or...er...chickens...

as they say in that fish movie, "Fish are friends, not food."

I don't eat fish because I don't think they should be killed/suffocated for food, I have pet fish anyways. =)
