I've counted 83 - Is that normal?

But I don't know how exactly to count, I mean my heart is going dub deb dub deb dub deb, and I only counted the first dub, not the deb.

Thanks for your answer btw. I had pain in my heart & I was curious if it wasn't healthy or something.

Your heart rate of 83 is great. Normal resting heart rate for your age is 60-100 beats per minute.

Below is the proper way to check your pulse, also please refer to links below.

1. You can easily check your pulse on the inside of your wrist, below your thumb.

2. Gently place 2 fingers of your other hand on this artery.
Do not use your thumb because it has its own pulse that you may feel.

3. Count the beats for 30 seconds; then multiple X 2 the result to get the number of beats per minute.

A healthy heart rate for you at this age as well as into adulthood would be 60 to 100 beats per minute.

At your age your h/r should be between 60 to 90/100 per minute, get rid of this obsession of counting your pulse OK.
You are perfectly healthy, and stop this web search, as different values are given, eat well, do physical and lead a normal happy life, OK.
