Well, it's probably too late to do this now, but you can get these Jello molds that look like a brain. They also come with a recipe for a home-made gelatin dessert that's sort of brain-colored too.

Otherwise, look for a recipe for "dirt cake" - it's essentially cake with a topping made from crushed Oreos to look like dirt. Get some skeleton or other appropriate gummy candy and stick them in the dirt.

Finally, you COULD serve actual (cow) brains...if your guests are adventurous enough.

Dirt cake is a great idea - put gummy worms in it so your zombies will feel at home!

Also: get a thin rubber glove and fill it with juice or lemonade and freeze it solid. Peel off the glove without breaking the ice, an you now have a frozen disembodied "hand" which you can slip into a bowl of punch. If it's not noticed soon enough, draw everyone's attention to the punch bowl, lift it out, and ask, "Did anyone lose this?"

Oh, and rent "Spike & Company Do It A Cappella" just so you can gather 'round the TV for 5 wonderful minutes and watch Rockapella singing "Zombie Jamboree" - first song on the video after the opening credits, performed in a dark underground station - Sean Altman's bit with the googly eyes is just scary weird!

My recomendation would be a melon tray at each table as a centerpiece. Cube the pinapple and use it's top as the center of your tray. Cut the melons in half and arrange them in a circular fashion, using the biggest pieces on the bottom. As you build towards the top, set the top of the pinapple in the center, and frame it off with the best looking 3 slices of melon. If you do this, be sure to squeeze lemon juice over every tray. This will hold the fruit from browning for quite awhile. Produce can be purchased in these quantities from your local produce company. If there is a restaurant anywhere near you, then there is a produce wholesaler within reach. If you contact them, they'll more than likely get you what you need, with better quality and pricing than the supermarket. I've done platters of this sort many times, and in different variations. They always are a crowdpleaser and the only complaint I've gotten from my customers is that it's "too pretty to eat, we don't want to ruin what you made."

There was a zombie parade in San Diego recently, very popular. Lots of white face, black eyes, black clothing, blood, etc. Maybe on utube. Don't know much about zombie food but Halloween food sites might have what you're looking for. Sounds like fun.

Well that's a bizarre party theme!

Stay up all night long (like literally til the morning) watching movies, playing games, talking, etc., then have a contest in the morning to see who appears the most zombie-ish! Have a good prize, too.

Rent lots of scary movies---preferably several with zombies.

Have "Thriller" playing as your guests arrive. Also have that music video on tv. You could even watch 13 going on 30 where they dance to that song--- kinda a stretch, I know.

Have lots of fun.

Wouldn't that just be a different name for a Halloween party? Use the same food and decorations you would use for that party.
