Ok, ultimately I KNOW I'm not really going to know until I get to a doctor. But right now, I'm SCARED as hell right now.

Well, about a month and a half ago, I noticed I was itching down there. I looked at my genitals with a hand mirror and noticed lots of dry skin. I thought this was because I left my Veet hair removal cream on too long a couple of days before, which can cause irritation.

The itching and dry skin never really went away. Areas around my anus and vag lips began to redden.

I thought it was chaffing, so I bought a chaffing cream, and that helped ALOT.

I quit using it after about 2 weeks. Now, my lips are super itchy and burning. I dont have any bumps from what I can tell, just some redness from the itching. And everytime I scratch, it irititates it even MORE. Seems like the skin comes off or something.

I don't have fever or anything. My last partner is a dentists and says he had gets checked for this frequently. Says he doesn't have anything.

I also should mention, that there has been a little bleeding. But I think this is from all my scratching. I'm not sure. I can't tell if the redness is sores or not. It doesn't bleed regularly. I've wiped myself mabye 3 times and noticed bleeding in the past 1.5 months.

Also, I don't put the Veet directly on my lips (just around) so I'm no so sure this is what it could be. When the itch first began, it was DIRECTLY where the Veet was applied. Now, it's more on the lips.

This does not sound like herpes because of the fact that there are no sores or blisters in the area. It sounds like a bad irritation probably due the the veet, and then the cream you used. The vaginal area is very sensitive. You probably just irritated yourself with all the chemicals. The soap you use could also be reacting with the cream you used. Plus you're itching a lot which makes it worse. You don't have herpes but you need to get this irritation taken care of. Go see your Dr. today or tomorrow and he or she can prescribe something for sensitive skin.

Yes, there isn't any. Herpes is caused by a virus. Actually, there is little cure for viruses nowadays. The only thing that you can generally do in the case of a viral infection is strengthen the immune system and hope it fights it off. Not with Herpes, the immune system can't win against it. Thus you only get to treat the symptoms. Once you're infected, it stays with you for life. So don't get infected.

Personal experience. I have had genital herpes for over 5 years.

Once exposed to the virus, there is an incubation period that generally lasts 3 to 7 days before a lesion develops. During this time, there are no symptoms and the virus cannot be transmitted to others. An outbreak usually begins as an itching or tingling sensation followed by redness of the skin. Finally, a blister forms. The blisters and subsequent ulcers that form when the blisters break, are usually very painful to touch and may last from 7 days to 2 weeks. The virus is contagious from the time of itching to the time of complete healing of the ulcer.

This sounds like an external yeast infection (men get jock itch). You can probably get some Monistat. Get the one that has the external cream as well as the one dose or three dose internal ovule. You should start feeling better in a couple days. NO SEX for at least 10 days. The DR can also prescribe a pill, called Diflucan. Usually one dose will do the job, but it is EXPENSIVE.

I think your skin is just super irritated from the Veet cream... Do you use it frequently down there or was it the first time. You may have a yeast infection if you're used to the veet. Good Luck!

Sounds like a yeast infection, call your doctor, see when you can be seen, and ask if in the meantime you can use Monistat 1 or something along those lines. You are aware that even if a guy uses a condom, if he has herpes, that doesn't protect you from his balls.
