YES. Hypoglycemia is defined as the decreased blood sugar Signs of hypoglycemia include dizziness, palpitations, increased heart rate and shaking tremors. There is not enough insulin inside the cells to produce energy. So the cells starve. This is the reason why we need to take our breakfast without fail. It is the first meal of the day. Needed for our energy

Yes, I have hypoglycemia but do not have diabetes, as does my mother. Pretty much the only way to treat it is by regulating your diet. You do need to be checked, don't just let it go as you can have fainting spells and possibly coma or shock if your blood sugar gets too low. Your Dr should be able to give you a diet to follow to regulate your blood sugar.

Lots of people have hypoglycemia and not be diabetic. And a low blood sugar does make you feel lousy. Have you checked with your doctor. You should be monitoring your blood sugar and keep snacks close by to bring your sugar back into a proper range.

of course people without diabetes can experience hypoglycemia....all that is is not enough sugar in the blood stream...caused by not consuming enough food. Diabetics usually only have hypoglycemia when they take their meds or use insulin and don't eat enough to cover it.
Non diabetic folks get it whenever they don't eat enough, like anorexics or dieters.

Nope! I have hypoglycemia and I don't have diabetes.
Yes, it's okay to feel like that and no it's not a different name:)

Be careful, though, it can lead to diabetes when you're older.
