Are you asking about the symptoms that a woman has vs, the symptoms that a man may experience?? I recall a true story where a woman had some of the classic symptoms but, not the symptoms that would definitely indicate a heart attack. Most women do not get any symptoms or very minor symptoms, IE: nausea, back pain, or feeling dizzy/lightheadedness. Therefore, testing the heart is overlooked. Now that there is more information regarding this, hospital workers ( Docs', Nurses' ) are more likely to test a woman for a possible heart attack. Anyway, this woman was finally tested ( due to an intelligent nurse), and she was having a heart attack with severe blockages to the coronary arteries ( the blood that is needed for the heart to function, was quite low). She ended up having open heart surgery ( CABG= Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting). Women need to be better educated about the symptoms of a heart attack that women experience along with the classic symptoms. Every year, there is a " Heart Awareness Week" that medical professionals dedicate to inform women of heart attack symptoms ( this is still done throughout the year as well). Medical Professionals donate funds for the cause. I could very well explain the process of a heart attack but, since you are aware now, I don't think that you are looking for that. If so, let me know. Or, you can go to:

I hope that this is what you were asking about.
