lol, it's funny how you keep adding more and more to your question.

I'm sorry if people have been harrassing you about meat, and shoving their beliefs down your throat.
BUT if no one has been bothering you personally, like trying to convert you, and it's just their own opinion, then there's no reason to be upset.
Some people just think differently, and honestly see meat as being gross. And you see meat as being delicious, and that's your own opinion. Some people just disagree with you. Part of what makes life so interesting is that there are many different people with many different beliefs.

And you can say anything you want about veggies being gross, it is a free country after all. But your opinion of veggies doesn't affect me--it doesn't make me not want to eat them.

Because for some, cutting up and eating dead bodies is gross... as gross as dead dog flesh, as gross as dead human flesh.

While it looks all neat and clean and "humane" when it is wrapped up for us in a grocery store, we still know that it is the carcass of something that didn't need to die for our taste buds. Sorry. You live in a world where people have different beliefs that your worldview.

I am really sorry that some vegan stole your lunch money when you were a kid (or whatever traumatic event happened with some mean 'ole vegan), but a new hobby will help you feel better than trolling around looking for vegans to bash.

We don't troll over into tattoo land and talk about how tattoos are disgusting and how your beliefs are stupid.
:)

Actually, I am sure you have met several people (either here or in real life) who have come up to you and started bashing you for body art either because they were ill-informed or because they liked pushing ignorant stereotypes or "proving you wrong" ... I know I have met some. And I would assume that you didn't like it. Now imagine how you would feel if tattoos were a moral belief...

That description is quite poor. I'm not a preachy vegan, but TO ME, dead animal flesh is disgusting. I'm actually not an "ethical vegan," meaning that it's not for ethical reasons that I choose not to eat meat. I actually dislike a lot of animals. I am against killing animals cruelly and I don't know much about the slaughter process to speak to this, but I imagine some methods are inhumane. Eating meat just seems entirely unsanitary. I'd never tell anyone to stop and most vegetarians and vegans aren't preachy about it. There are some who are and they tend to be a lot louder and more obnoxious than the majority who just choose not to eat meat and animal products for health reasons. A fellow guest at a barbecue went into unnecessary detail about the steak that people were eating. Completely unnecessary and really rude. I am a vegan. She's a vegetarian. I gladly ate corn and lots of fruits and veggies. I even ignored some meat eaters' obnoxious comments. I have a live and let live attitude. I don't expect anyone to stick their lifestyle down my throat and I won't do the same to anyone else.

Meat is gross! I bet you can't tell the difference between a piece of pork shoulder and a piece of human rear end! Maybe that stuff you just ate came from a piece of illegal alien that slipped in the slaughterhouse. That is where immigration keeps arresting illegal aliens anyway! I'd rather eat plant bacteria in a dirty potato than eat animal bacteria in a piece of mad cow hamburger. And be sure to enjoy your moldy milk on your pizza with lots of flavored ground up intestine and organs stuffed into a lamb intestine! That's what cheese and pepperonis are!!!!!!!

meat is more disgusting ! , yes veggies have fungus .. yes theres bateria but can you see it ? no ! , vegetables are really healthy for you , whats the damn point if its grown in dirt , we play in it dont we ? its fun . worms are good , it makes it so we can make veggies , besides that ,meat is flesh, gross and bloody flesh , something that was living ! and now dead , its like eating your f.u.c.k.i.n.g friends . dont you like animals ??? , no ! because all you guys ever taunter about is how good it tastes nothing about how the animal was treated before it went in your mouth! , stop being so rude . and give respect .

Blah blah blah.

I just had some mushrooms. They are in the fungus family, I'm not sure if they were "glorified" or not, but I'm sure I have never grown them between my toes.

Yes, definitely "ridiculas" and "not nessasary."

It's simple. To us it IS gross.

It's the same way people who are really health conscious will describe a big plate of onion rings with Ranch dressing - gross.

Or the way kids will describe brussels sprouts - gross.

If you think something is gross, which meat definitely is to me, then that's they way you talk about it. Why would we talk about this thing that we hate in the same kind of praising, mouth-watering language used in beef commercials? It wouldn't make sense.

Your are disguising a silly statement as a question. Say what you want about veggies...dont eat them for all I care if they are so gross. Meat is gross..its a slab of decaying flesh and we can say whatever we want about it here..it is the vegetarian section.

funny... that does sound ridiculous... so what is your point?

how are humans decaying from birth? We age after we are born(and before that), that doesn't mean that we are decaying.
Aging and decaying are two different things. Dead things decay...
