A patient had a car accident, multiple bruises on head as he was lying unconscious on the steering. in hospital his BP WILL NOT RISE inspite of medication, what could be the causes? Thank you.

OK, The answer is simple forget everything pay attention to the non rise in BP, the steering must have rammed in his chest resulting in HEAM PERICADIUM, hence the BP will not rise.

He's bleeding internally. Either via his skull or he has a paracardial tamponade. Other vital signs would be nice in determining the specific cause
