NON ST ELEVATION MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION.
Highly practical question, however the patient will come in ER with pain in chest radiating to left arm small digit, with cold perspiration.

EKG will show no acute change. It will be normal.
On running an cardiac enzymes test they will be positive CKMB will be elevated.
IF more than 4 hours have passed trop T will be positive.
TROP I will be positive.
DON'T USE SK OR BLOOD THINNER IF BP IS HIGH.
Place patient on ACS protocol and TREATMENT.
There are many other contraindications which cannot be written here, this should suffice.

WATCH WORDS:


A POSITIVE CARDIAC ENZYME TEST/S + SYMPTOMS ARE SUFFICIENT TO LABEL A PATIENT UNDERGOING NSTEMI, FORGET THE EKG.
