No eating sugar does not cause pimples that's another one of those myths out there. If sugar caused pimples then 99.9% of the world's population would have pimples.

Not on its own - pimples are swollen and infected sebaceous glands in the skin - look at overall diet - I get a bodger on the end of my nose, and have done for over 30 years.

Sugar helps carry infection, whilst fat adds to the complication. A good face scrubbing soap which gets into the pores will also work wonders!

Not necessarily. If I had pimples and wanted to get rid of them; I would think of what I was doing that could be causing them. Then, I would try to correct the problem.

Pimples are an infection of a sebaceous gland in your face (or wherever), so, unless it's dirty sugar and you're rubbing it on your face, then, no.

i always thought it didnt and read that it didn't.

However, for my boyfriend this is true and I've seen it happen in many instances where he will over indulge in sugar and it happens like clockwork.

So maybe it depends upon the person?
