It is possible, however I am almost positive that a man can't get a yeast infection unless he has sex with a woman who has one. I could be wrong of course. I'd see a doctor because yeast infection or not this certainly needs to be checked out and treated. Good luck

Yes men can have yeast infections. Yeast can infect any place that has a mucous membrane lining, like inside the mouth, stomach, intestines, bladder, even the eyes can be effected from yeast infections. If your girlfriend has a yeast infection you must also take the same treatment to prevent your own infection and the spread to others.Symptoms include rash, redness, inflamation of the mucous membranes, itching, burning when urinating etc. There is a home test for yeast available at the local pharmacy. If that's positive you need medication that contains "Myconizole" or anti-fungal medication recommended by your MD or Pharmacist. Take care. SW RNP

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Yes, men can get yeast infections. They are more likely transferred through sex, otherwise men don't usually get them. This could also be something like jock itch. Either way, you should go to a doctor that way they can help. When you have a yest infection you don't have little red bumps which makes me think it's more then likely jock itch. Go to a doctor so they can help you and give you something to help with the itch. Hope this helps some.

A man can get a yeast infection , particularly if he isn't circumcised.

It could also be something as simple as tinea, better known as athlete's foot! This can be transferred by towel, so if your feet have it, this is a real possibility.

Get it checked by a Dr to be sure, because the treatment for one can sometimes aggravate the other, and it's not an area you wan getting worse!
