scheduled to have angiogram then heart cath/ablation what about the dye should i get it 2 times?

i have heard the dye is bad for the kidneys.

the angiogram and the ablation will likely occur at the same visit. Don't worry about the dye used, they use very little anymore and it isn't hard on healthy kidneys.

You doctor should know ahead of time if the die should not be used.I have had heart caths done more than once and it hasn't affected me.I have to have them done every so often because I had a heart transplant a year ago.

My husband had a heart cath i don't remember there being any dye
