False. Hokum, wrong, bunk, incorrect, nope, not happening.

Check snopes.com if you hear anything like this. They do a good job of researching urban legends and telling the truth about them.

Urban legend. As another poster suggested. www.snopes.com is a good way to check out stories that seem too outrageous to be true.

Current statistics show the possibility of seroconversion (i.e., getting HIV) from a needlestick (among healthcare workers, at least) is about 0.3%. If someone wanted to spread HIV, this would not be the method to use.

they arent putting syringes in the handles, they are putting needles with a drop of blood from an HIV infected person on the pumps so that the next person to use it gets poked and then infected with the blood.

yes it is, its disgusting but true. also they are leaving heroine needles in ball pits at mcdonalds and other places, children have been killed. many people have been infected with hiv from the gas pumps, always check before pumping or make sure ur hand is wrapped in a towel or cloth before reaching for it.

Urban Legend, ask yourself this, who would carry HIV infected blood around with them? Unless they had HIV, then who with HIV would be sick enough to want to spread the disease, knowing what having it must be like.
