Are you diabetic...if so, DO NOT fast without your doctor's permission.
If you are not diabetic, a juice fast should be OK, unless you have other medical conditions. BUT...the juice is only part of the fast...make sure you drink water as well...staying well hydrated will help the cleansing of your system, and also keep you from experiencing unpleasant side effects.
Stick to natural 100% juices with no added sugars...but don't go crazy with them...more water, less juice.
One more thing...when you break the fast at the end of your goal, make sure to eat simple, bland foods to start with...ending with a giant steak or a spicy meal will...well...you will be sorry...
Good luck...I am proud of you for caring about what you put in your body.

Your blood sugar will only really spike, giving you a hyper then tired cycle, if you have three meals a day. If you manage to split up your intake into at least six meals you should have minimal trouble. This is true in general with most food, less for protein, but especially so for simple carbohydrates such as in fruit.

Unless you are diabetic or pre-diabetic, your body should be able to handle it as long as you don't overdo it. You might try taking smaller doses more frequently to level out the spikes and crashes in blood sugar caused by the lag in insulin release.

Just count the carbs. Take in a lot of water too. Count the carbs, check your sugar, make sure your insulin matches the carb counts. You have to be reeeeally careful, but as long as you count you'll be okay.
And really sick of math after a couple days...

if you are diabetic then don't do that. well one thing is juice is good to point. but if you had low sugar you would drink orange juice and it would come up very fast. the juice brings up sugars.
